Tractor Saves Stranded Horses
DENHOLM, Scotland, Dec. 11 (UPI) -- A Scottish farmer shared video of horses stranded in a flood with water up to their bellies being rescued by a tractor that led them to safety.
The video, posted to YouTube by Deanfoot Farming, shows several horses stranded in deep water amid flooding in Denholm, Scotland, Dec. 5.
A tractor braves the deep waters to approach the horses, and two rescuers then get out of the vehicle to round up the terrified equines and tie them to the back of the tractor. The tractor, with horses in tow, then heads for dry land.
The video's description says the trailer solution was implemented after fire crews and rescue boat crews were unable to help the stranded animals.

Winter Clothing Drive From November 1st through December 31st, Project Keep Warm, an initiative of the Lehigh Valley Business Group, will bring community resources together to help those who need help this winter. Last year over 4,500 items were collected and donated and delivered to homeless, shelters, children, families, seniors and others.
This will be the Fourth annual Project Keep Warm drive to collect winter weather gear items for the homeless – individuals, families, children, shelters, animal shelters, and others.
