Alex Needs Your Help

After being abused and neglected Alex is learning to trust again. He loves to be around people, is super playful and longs for connection and affection. He's approximately 3 years old and is truly stunning with his beautiful white fur and heterochromia iridum (one blue eye and one brown). Alex's previous life left him without the opportunity to learn appropriate boundaries and he uses his mouth and jumping to communicate when he's happy, excited, scared, wants to play or wants attention.
Alex came to us scared, emaciated and covered in sores and rashes from constant crating (like bed sores and urine burns elderly people can get). He's put on the weight, his skin has healed and he's beginning to learn commands and expectations. However, at 85 lbs, he's a big boy now and needs more specialized training to learn better manners and communication skills before he can be adopted.
We are raising money to send Alex to a phenomenal trainer (AFT Dog Training, Nazareth PA) for a three week board and train program where he will come out a highly adoptable, confident, behaved dog with a bright future. Alex needs to raise $1200 which will include his 3 week board and train program, any tools or equipment he'll need and a go home session with his new family when he finds one. Please help him become the dog we all know he can be and find a family of his own. Donate and share today!
