LAWN CARE... Equipment For a Manicured Lawn
(BPT) - Snowmageddon. Snowpocalypse. Polar Vortex 2.0. If you’re like most Americans, you’re limping to the finish line of yet another never-ending winter. But this winter doesn’t just have people at their breaking points, it has lawns across the country ready for a relief as well.
“To say that lawns wake up from the winter hungry and ready for maintenance would be putting it lightly,” says John Turner, DIY expert and regular contributor to CraftsmanClub.com. “Achieving a beautiful lawn – even after a particularly brutal winter – is certainly attainable. But it all starts by leveraging the right equipment for your truly unique lawn.” To help get your yard looking its best this season, the Craftsman brand has new, innovative lawn and garden equipment to tackle a variety of needs: * Ride in style – Riding lawn mowers take the cake for ease and comfort – especially if you have tall grass or hilly terrain. The Craftsman Pro Series Riding Lawn Mowers come in 42-, 46- and 54-in. reinforced steel decks for strength and durability and capabilities to reach speeds of up to 5.5 mph. Have an extra-large lawn? The Craftsman Pro Series Zero Turn Riding Mowers have you covered – and with a zero-inch turning radius, trees and bushes won't slow you down. * Stay powered and ditch the gas – The Craftsman 40-Volt category is the brand’s newest and most powerful cordless lawn and garden platform. The collection of lawn tools is powered by a 40 Volt MAX lithium-ion battery and includes a hedge trimmer, line trimmer, 12-inch chainsaw, sweeper and push mower. * Devil is in the details – Edging tools are ideal for creating a beautiful, finished edge along driveways, walking paths and sidewalks. Edgers are simple aesthetic tools that cut out grass, roots and weeds along the edge of your pavement, and done correctly, they can set the standard for the rest of your neighborhood. Additional lawn and garden products – and yard maintenance tips, are available on CraftsmanClub.com. Here, Craftsman Club members can get advice from DIY experts, share projects in real time and learn about the latest tool innovations from the brand. Mom Has Misbehaving Son Arrested"She came by on her personal time," Hill told the Columbus Ledger-Enquirer. "[He] was not expecting to her to be here." Hill said she asked the boy why he was disrespectful to Smith. "'Because I wanted to and I don't care,'" she quoted him as responding. Hill said she called police and asked for a special type of intervention. "When they showed up, it hit him. They came in, they arrested him, put handcuffs on him, and they took him to the car... one cop got into the car and flashed the lights to give him a good scare," Hill told WLTZ-TV. Hill said Sean ran into her arms after being released from the car and promised to improve his behavior. The mother, who uses the name Jada Powell on Facebook, posted pictures of Sean being "arrested" on the social networking site, where they went viral. "What I say to people that say I'm emotionally hurting my child or giving him a fear of law enforcement: He respects law and knows they're there to help people, but he also knows they're also there to show him the consequences of his action," she said. "If I didn't feel comfortable, I would have called them off at any time. I wanted to get him while he's still young and impressionable. Stop it now before it could get worse." Bangor Park Summer Youth Basketball Registration is currently open for the Bangor Park Youth Basketball Summer League. The league will run from the first week in June until August. Each team will play 10 regular season games plus playoffs at Bangor Memorial Park on the weekends.
There will be two divisions for both boys & girls - 5th & 6th grade and 7th & 8th grade. An all-inclusive entry fee for each team is required. Please visit our website bangorparkbball.wix.com or contact Asher Schiavone via email: [email protected] or via cell: (484) 894-4115." Specialty Bingo at Trinity ELC

Ask The Doc........
Let's Talk Adjectives
by Dr. Gary Williams, DMD
garywilliamsdmd.com Invisible, comfortable, corrective, clear, precise, inexpensive, beautifying, and empowering. I bet you rarely think of those adjectives, and dentistry in the same sentence. However, that is exactly what you get with one of dentistry’s latest tools. I’m talking about Invisalign, clear aligner therapy to place your teeth in the proper position for a life –time of good oral health. This comfortable way to align teeth is proving to be very successful, and at Family Dental Care, Dr. Gary Williams, and staff are seeing such good results, that we think it deserves special attention. We are reserving 10 spots, on April 23rd, for those interested in improving their oral health. I believe so much in this treatment, that on that day, I will “pitch-in” and pay for some of your treatment. Together, you and I can give you the smile that you have always wanted. Call soon, appointment spots are limited. (610)863-8988. Slate Belt Senior Center
